Hallmark Star Jen Lilley Exits The Channel, Steps Foot In GAC Media

Jen LilleyHallmark Channel star Jen Lilley has waved goodbye to the channel and made her way to its rival network, GAC Media, and is expected to star in four movies over the next two years.

Jen Lilley is known for her roles in the long-running soaps, “Days of Our Lives” and “General Hospital.” She recently starred in Hallmark’s “Where Your Heart Belongs” and the GAC Family’s “Royally Wrapped for Christmas.”

As she stepped foot at her new network, the President and CEO of GAC Media, Bill Abbott, welcomed the newcomer to their entertainment home. He mentioned he has known Lilley for a long time since Abbott was the former Hallmark executive and has witnessed how hardworking she is as an actor who is “perfectly fit for GAC.”

“Many of us on the GAC team have known Jen for years, and we are excited to welcome her to the family as we work together to bring even more entertaining movies to our fans,” Abbott stated as documented by Deadline.

Lilley was also welcomed by her friends, including her former Hallmark co-stars, Danica McKellar and Trevor Donovan as well as the former stars of “When Calls the Heart,” Lori Loughlin, and Daniel Lissing, who will star in “When Hope Calls” on GAC.

Aside from Jen Lilley, former Hallmark star Danica McKellar worried fans when she left the borders of Hallmark and reunited with its former executive, Bill Abbott. Now that she is connected with GAC Media, she gave hints about her upcoming soaps in the new network.

Danica McKellar mentioned the rom-com projects she will be working on for the whole year. “Romantic comedies go all year round. I think what the audience love about Christmas is the feeling of nostalgia and family and traditions and warm fuzziness,” she stated as documented by Heavy.com.

The 47-year-old actress appreciated how GAC continues to make people feel the vibes of Christmas any time of the year just like her first project, “The Winter Palace.” She also mentioned her love for the network when she got to be flexible with her creativity as she will also produce and act on her upcoming movies.

She remained tight-lipped about her future projects but hinted that her supporters will surely love the show. “I can’t give you a lot of details yet, but I’m working on one that involves some dance, which is a lot of fun,” McKellar said.
