One of these, The Christmas House, starred Jonathan Bennett in a same-sex romance, the first of its kind for the network. While he has a number of Hallmark movies under his belt, the latest was the perfect story.

However, Hallmark fans can now celebrate a true-life romance as Jonathan Bennett weds his true love, Jaymes Vaughan. They first got engaged in November 2020 and have now officially tied the knot. Meanwhile, after People shared the images in their article, Jonathan has given us the opportunity to swipe through all the amazing images of their wedding, included here.

Throughout the images, we see a happy and smiling couple, except for the moments when a tear came to their eyes (and, admittedly, ours) while sharing their vows. In his caption, Bennett wrote that they highly recommend standing next to the person you love and declaring that love “loudly and boldly. Jonathan added that this was in front of his chosen family and how they could be as unapologetically [sic]” emotional as they wanted.

Hallmark Channel News – About The Wedding Ceremony

After the moving wedding ceremony, the newlyweds shared their story with People.

Jaymes did say that when you are part of the LGBTQ+ family, “not everything in the wedding space is for you yet.” He said that the whole purpose of their wedding was to come together and join the two of them, join their families together and start a new family.

Jonathan added that, with all that, they were going through the process and realized their wedding is also more than just about them. It is also about the entire LGBTQ+ community.

Apparently, the pair also had fellow cast members at the affair, including Hallmark alum Danica McKellar, and Jonathan’s The Christmas House mom, Sharon Lawrence. Both reportedly wore white to help honor the memory of Bennett’s late mother.

With such a picture-perfect wedding, Jonathan Bennett and Jaymes Vaughan are set to have a wonderful life together.
