I don’t know if there ever will be, but I would love that. I am 100 percent [there]. Sign me up, I want to know what Claudia’s doing.

About Party of Five

Lacey Chabert played the role of Claudia Salinger, the fourth of five siblings, a snarky child music prodigy. The other siblings were played by Lost alum, Matthew Fox, along with Scott Wolf, Neve Campbell and Jacob Smith.

The plot of the series revolved around the fact that their parents died in a car crash, leading the orphaned kids to learn to care for each other. Moreover, the five siblings were keeping the family restaurant going.

Speaking of the role as Claudia Salinger, Lacey said that more than two decades after the show ended, people, people still recognize her as Claudia. In fact, she said this never gets old, joking:

If I’m ever at a restaurant and there are five of us, and they’re like ‘party of five,’ it’s a little startling. People ask us that all the time, ‘Does that get old?’

No, whenever you’re a part of any sort of project, you do it in the hopes that it’s gonna [sic] resonate with people and that people will love it and enjoy it. So, when people bring up projects that you’ve done years later, I think it’s a compliment.

Meanwhile, Lacey described starring in Party of Five for six years of her life as a unique experience adding:

They’re a family to me. I think about who I am today and how so much of that is a result of that wonderful group of people, and we’re forever bonded and connected.

In 2020, Party of Five was rebooted as a Freeform series. The show featured five Mexican-American siblings, trying to make it on their own after their parents were deported. However, the show didn’t take off and was canceled after one season.
