Hallmark Star Luke Macfarlane & Hig Roberts Celebrate Baby News

Hallmark alum Luke Macfarlane made a happy announcement on Wednesday, June 21 that his baby girl had come into the world. He shared cute images of himself and his partner, Hig Roberts and their baby, Tess Eleanor Macfarlane. Meanwhile, his co-stars were quick to respond, sending love and congratulations to the Bros actor.

Luke Macfarlane, 43, made a touching Instagram post on Wednesday, June 21, to announce that he and his partner, Hig Roberts, 32, were able to take their newborn daughter home on Sunday. What made the day perfect was that it was on Father’s Day that they took Tess home.

MacFarlane captioned his Instagram post, writing:

Tess Eleanor Macfarlane— Born June 4th 2023. We started life with some hectic days and received world-class care. On Father’s Day we got to take her home. Her Dads can’t wait to introduce her to all the remarkable people and the beautiful world we live in.

The first of the images reveals Luke holding his newborn daughter, followed by a video clip of the proud dads walking through the hospital with their daughter in a carrier. Next, came a cute image of Higm gazing at baby Tess as she holds onto his finger. Meanwhile, this was followed by a sweet and heartwarming video of Macfarlane rocking his baby girl. To end the series, a shirtless Luke looks into the camera while holding his newborn daughter.

While it is unclear how long the Hallmark star and Hig have been together, their relationship was first reported on DeuxMoi back in October 2022. Reportedly, Hig is a former professional alpine skier, but is now a sports agent at Wasserman.

Naturally, after making a post about the happy news, many of Luke’s co-stars were quick to respond with love and congratulations. In fact, the heart emojis were flying from his fellow actors.

Cameron Mathison responded to the wonderful news with three red heart emojis. Fellow Hallmark and When Calls the Heart star, Erin Krakow, commented, writing, “The best! So happy for you” with a smiling hearts emoji. Moreover, Jonathan Bennett dropped four red heart emojis to congratulate the happy dads.

Hannah Swensen star Alison Sweeney wrote, “This is incredible news! I am SO happy for all three of you!!!!!! Congrats” with three applause emojis. Meanwhile, Meghan Ory was also excited, writing, “Ahhhhh amazing!!!! So exciting!!!! Congratulations.”
