Hallmark To Launch New Time-Travel Series Providence Falls

Judging from the success of The Way Home, which has recently launched its third season, Hallmark is now filming another time-travel series.
However, rather than a TV show with episodes, Providence Falls starts out as a trilogy of movies, centered on a time-travel romance
Hallmark is filming Providence Falls in Vancouver
According to a report on Hollywood North Buzz, Hallmark has started filming a new time-travel trilogy of movies, Province Falls, in Vancouver, Canada. Meanwhile, the new movies are based on Judy Deveraux and Tara Sheets’ novels, Chance of a Lifetime, An Impossible Promise and Thief of Fate. Filming started on January 13 and is set to continue through March 7, 2025.
Meanwhile, Amazon’s page on the trilogy of books describes them as an “Outlander meets The Lake House love story. The description reads:
A rogue thief in 1840s Ireland is sent by angels to a contemporary small town in America to make amends for his crimes in the past. Forbidden to tell anyone why he is there he must convince the woman he loves to marry another man or be damned for eternity.
However, at this stage, there are no details of the cast of the new Hallmark movie trilogy.
Hallmark fans love time-travel movies

Besides the latest series, The Way Home, the feel-good network has released several time-travel movies, along with the TV series, The Way Home. those movies include:
Rip in Time
Torrey DeVitto and Niall Matter star in the hit 2022 time-travel movie, Rip in Time. DeVitto plays Sarah, an organic farmer, who meets a man claiming to be from 1787. She quickly discovers old-fashioned feelings that can be just as crazy as his story.
The Love Letter
Meanwhile, in 1998, the Hallmark Hall of Fame premiered The Love Letter, starring Campbell Scott and Jennifer Jason Leigh. The movie is about a modern-day game designer who exchanges letters with a 19th-century poet through an antique desk that had time-travel capabilities.
Just in Time for Christmas
Airing in 2015, Just in Time for Christmas involves traveling to the future. The plot tells the tale of a young psychology professor who must choose between moving across the country for her dream job, or staying in her hometown to marry the man of her dreams. On one foggy December night, she gets some help from a coachman who takes her three years into the future and shows her what her life will become.
Journey Back to Christmas
Among the most popular time-travel movies, Journey Back to Christmas, starring Candace Cameron Bure. The movie’s plot tells the story of a WWII-era nurse transported in time to 2016, where she meets a man who helps her “discover the bonds of family and the true meaning meaning of Christmas.”
When will Providence Falls premiere on Hallmark?
As yet, it is unknown when the Providence Falls trilogy of movies will air on Hallmark Channel.
