Meanwhile, the all-star cast includes Melora Hardin (The Office, Transparent), Katherine McNamara (Arrow, Shadowhunters), Arienne Mandi (The L Word: Generation Q) and Max Lloyd-Jones (When Calls the Heart, The Book of Boba Fett). Read on to find out all we know so far about the new Hallmark movie.
Hallmark Channel Plot Of Love, Classified
Melora Hardin plays the role of romance novelist Emilia, who is described as a whirlwind who blows back into the lives of her adult children, Taylor (Katherine McNamara) and Zach (Max Lloyd-Jones). The whirlwind comes under the pretext of a book signing, arranged by the local book shop in her hometown.
Meanwhile, as Emilia tries to reconnect with people in her hometown, Taylor and Zach decide to explore new and past relationships via an app that boasts good old-fashioned human connection by way of the classified ad, hence the title.
In Zach’s case, he is given the chance to heal old wounds. Meanwhile, Taylor matches up with a woman who changes the way she has always thought about love.
Speaking to Deadline, Lisa Hamilton Daily, EVP Programming Crown Media Family Networks described the movie as “such a fun story from writer Lynn Sternberger. She said it is ultimately a story of “love, family and commitment in all its forms.”
“With a cast that includes Melora Hardin, Arienne Mandi, Katherine McNamara, and Max Lloyd-Jones to help bring this movie to life will no doubt put a smile on the faces of our viewers this spring,” she added.
