Hallmark To Surprise Viewers With A Trio Of Royal Movies

Hallmark viewers have always enjoyed watching the occasional royal movie among its programming, especially through the holiday season. However, Hallmark is going all out this year by airing a trio of royal movies.
Moreover, these movies star some of the network’s most popular stars, including Andrew Walker, William Moseley, Mallory Jansen and Nichole Sakura.
While they are airing as a trio, each features a very different story, so they are not airing like, for example, The Wedding Veil movies. Read on to learn more about this trio of Hallmark movies and what fans can expect from them.
When will Hallmark release its three royal movies?
The three Hallmark royal movies are set to air sometime between early March and before Christmas in July. However, as the feel-good network has already shared some information and movie posters, they will likely premiere in March or early April. However, for now, no official premiere dates are available, but we do have some limited information.
1. The Reluctant Royal

Cast: Andrew W. Walker and Emilie de Ravin (Once Upon a Time)
Plot: According to the movie’s synopsis, “Philly mechanic Johnny (Walker) is surprised to learn that his long-lost father is a duke. But the duke isn’t quite what he expected, nor are his growing feelings for the duke’s advisor, Prudence” (Emilie de Ravin)
2. The Royal We

Cast: Mallory Jansen and Charlie Carrick (Reign)
Plot: According to the official synopsis, “when her older sister elopes with a non-royal, Princess Bea (Mallory Jansen) who has lived her life away from her royal duties must now step in and honor the arranged marriage to a small kingdom prince (Charlie Carrick).
3. Royal-ish

Cast: Nichole Sakura (The Finnish Line) and William Mosely (Notting Hill)
Plot: “Lacey (Nichole Sakura) is an amusement park princess who befriends 8-year-old Rose, a real-life princess, and is recruited by her handsome father (William Mosely, Notting Hill) to travel to their kingdom and be the new governess.”
