The former Taxi star has opened up about what it’s like quarantining with her co-star Candace Cameron Bure to continue our favorite mystery show. Get the scoop, including who else stars in the show and when to watch, below.
Hallmark Channel – TV Stars Quarantine To Film Aurora Teagarden Mysteries
If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s the art of adaptability. Aurora Teagarden Mysteries stars Marliu Henner and Candace Cameron Bure have shown their ability to adapt by going into quarantine in order to film the series for the Hallmark TV channel.
Marilu says that she and Candace are in Canada for their quarantine. The two are preparing to co-star in an upcoming movie for Hallmark’s “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries” series.
Don’t want to wait? Catch Henner, 68, and Bure, 44, in the TV channel’s “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: How to Con a Con.” That film is featured in Hallmark’s “Spring Fling” family offerings.
Marilu shared that the quarantine in Vancouver marks her fourth time in lock-down with Candace.
“She and I get along really well. We’re very compatible, a well-oiled machine at this point,” gushed Henner.
To pass the time between filming, Marilu saved shows she wanted to watch on Netflix for the quarantine. The two watch them together.
As for how they stay slim inside a house for so long? Like so many of us, Henner and Bure have learned the art of the homework.
“I can get my 10,000 steps [walking for exercise, while] she’s on the Peloton,” explained Marilu. “We have a routine down and it all works.”
Hallmark Channel – Why And When To Watch Teagarden Mystery Films
If you haven’t seen any of the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries on the Hallmark TV channel, Henner offers some motivation. The actress pointed out that the series features “a good mystery” with “fabulous” characters.
“Charlaine Harris wrote the original Aurora Teagarden books, so when we started doing the films, I read the books,” added Marilu. “I loved the way that she described my character. She’s opinionated, a little bossy, but wants the best for her daughter. She hates that her daughter keeps putting herself in danger.”
Henner plays Aida Teagarden, while Candace takes the lead in the Hallmark franchise. The actress also revealed that she loves the family-friendly nature of the films.
“My niece can sit and watch an Aurora Teagarden film and try to figure out the mystery. It’s pretty safe for her to watch it with me because nothing is scary,” said Marilu of the “wonderful, feel-good movies” for which Hallmark is known.
Henner spoke to Fox News about working alongside Cameron Bure, 44, her favorite memories from “Taxi,” which aired from 1978 until 1983, as well as what has kept her going over the years.
