Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas is in full swing, with plenty of festive and romantic movies to watch. This weekend, viewers can take a magical road trip, where a woman and her father-figure go on a journey to find his lost love, only to find one for the woman instead. Hallmark Channel Spoilers – Plot Of Hallmark’s A Christmas With You

According to Hallmark’s official synopsis, a widower Frank (Harry Lennix) finds a photo of his first love, Claire (Liza Huget), his young friend Megan (Laura Vandervoort), the proprietor of the café he frequents, convinces him to take a road trip to track her down. Initially, Frank is reluctant but agrees to the trip when he sees that it might help Megan recover from her recently broken engagement. Frank and Megan head off on their adventure and find themselves opening up to each other. Along the way, Megan has an awkward run-in with a man and his dog that she can’t seem to shake off.

However, Frank and Megan soon arrive at Claire’s address, only to find the home vacant. However, this doesn’t deter them from their search and they stay at a nearby lodge, where a surreptitious clue ultimately leads them to Claire. However, when they don’t get the reception they expected, the story of how Frank’s first love ended slowly reveals itself.

In the meanwhile, Megan finds out that the man she had met earlier, Steve (Niall Matter) is the owner of the lodge they are staying at. She helps him with some of his holiday responsibilities and they soon warm to each other. They both find they are grappling with their hopes for the future. Meanwhile, as she helps Frank pursue his second chance at love, he reminds her not to give up on her dreams or her heart. These unlikely friends eventually discover that sometimes the closest family is the kind we make.

The cast of A Christmas Together With You includes veteran actor Harry Lennox, known for Batman v. Superman. Laura Vandervoort has starred in the TV series Goosebumps, a feature film The Lookout, CSI: Crime Scene Investigations and also played Kara Kent (Supergirl) in the drama series Smallville. She has also been seen in the critically acclaimed series The Handmaid’s Tale.

Niall Matter is known for starring in the popular fantasy-sci-fi series Eureka. Meanwhile, Liza Huget has starred in Stargate SG-1, The Commish and The Stand (2020). Other cast include Michelle Scarabelli as Alice Swanson, Corey Woods as Gretchen, Adil Zaidi as Kyle, Jim Ewens as Tom and Liza Huget as Claire.
