Fans of Hallmark movies will be thrilled to hear the latest about one of their favorite movie franchises after Lacey Chabert gave a major spoiler on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Jimmy congratulated her on all her Hallmark Channel movies. It turns out the Mean Girls actress has done 33 movies so far for the network, all of which Fallon claims he has seen.

While chatting with Lacey Chabert, Jimmy Fallon admits he loves watching Hallmark movies/ However, he wanted to know why Hallmark movies are so popular. Meanwhile, they both agreed they make people happy, especially in these current troubling times.

When asked how long it takes to film a Hallmark movie, Lacey explained that they do the filming in just 15 days and they often air two months after filming is complete. There is obviously some split-second timing when producing these wonderful feel-good movies. However, the interview wasn’t just general chitchat, as Lacey revealed some exciting news.

Jimmy brought up The Wedding Veil Trilogy, saying they are three of the most-watched movies of all time, starring Lacey Chabert. He then asks her whether she has an announcement to make. Lacey said that she and Autumn Reeser and Alison Sweeney will be back with not just one, but three more Wedding Veil movies. Jimmy and the audience went wild at the news. Chabert continued, saying:

We are currently filming the last and are about to actually head to Greece this weekend to film the third one that Ally is the lead in.

We are so excited to bring these characters back to life, because the movies all end with a kiss. They fall in love, and now we get to see what happens after that.

There might be babies, the friendships are deeper…

After a brief pause, Chabert announced the release date of the first of the new trilogy, as January 7th, 2023. Naturally, Jimmy’s audience went wild.

It turns out fans don’t have to wait until January 7 to see Lacey Chabert in action. In the interview, Fallon asks Lacey to talk about her new Christmas project, Haul Out The Holly on Hallmark. Chabert explained the basic plot of the festive comedy, saying:

Well, my character goes home, hoping to just relax and be home for Christmas, watch Christmas movies and do nothing Christmas related in the neighborhood.

Lacey explains that where she’s from, the HOA of the cul-de-sac is crazy about Christmas. She said “They go all out,” adding:

She gets, you know, pulled into the activities, and this is the first time I’ve done a Christmas movie that’s a comedy.

Chabert noted that the movie has a wonderful cast, including Melissa Peterman, Wes Brown, Stephen Tobolowsky, Ellen Travolta, Peter Jacobson and more, adding:

These amazing people that just made me laugh all day.

Lacey’s new Christmas comedy, Haul Out the Holly premieres on Saturday, November 26 at 8 pm ET/PT on Hallmark Channel.
