McGarry will play, in his second Hallmark movie this year, as a single dad named Garrett opposite to his real-life girlfriend Wallace as Emily, who is a butterfly business owner in “Feeling Butterflies.” Entertainment Tonight ET) revealed that Emily and Garrett will meet at a birthday party where the former delivers the monarchs to. Garret and his daughter will help Emily for her business to reach its maximum potential. The movie premieres on March 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
Both stars are fan-favorites in “When Calls The Heart” with McGarry as Nathan and Wallace who plays Fiona. It was revealed by ET in November 2022 that the couple had started dating before they went public with their romantic status. It was McGarry who teased the viewers about their love story when he posted their photos together on Instagram.
Hallmark Channel News – Spring Into Love Lines Up 3 Brand New Movies
Aside from “Feeling Butterflies” Hallmark has lined up two more brand new movies with “The Presence Of Love” set to premiere on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Eloise Mumford will play professor Joss paired with Julian Morris as a single father Daniel.
The synopsis revealed that the pair will meet in England where Joss travels to visit the farm her late mother grew up and ends up bonding with Daniel. It premieres on Sunday, March 13, at 8 p.m. Eastern, on HMM.
To close the love-themed month Gloria Reuben and Eriq La Salle will star in the Hallmark ER reunion movie “A Second Chance At Love” together with ER co-stars Alvina August and Jarod Joseph.
The ER veterans La Salle and Reuben will play divorced couples Jack and Brenda respectively and their daughter Alice (August) sets them up on a blind date using an app. The movie concludes Spring Into Love on Saturday, March 26, at 8 p.m., Eastern.
Hallmark Channel News – To Jumpstart Hallamark’s Spring Into Love
“When Calls The Heart” Season 9 will jumpstart the love-theme month on Sunday, March 6, featuring two main love stories.
Aside from exploring the romance of the new couple, Lucas (Chris McNally) and Elizabeth (Erin Krakow), the show will be featuring a surprising romance from a newcomer with the Mountie Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry), who Elizabeth didn’t pick in season 8.
It will be “WCTH” first to feature an Asian woman with the actress Amanda Wong as the newcomer Mai Sou.
