According to the official synopsis, A Pinch of Portugal tells the story of prep cook Anna (Heather Hemmens), who has to step into the spotlight when a celebrity chef walks off his show. She now has to make the show her own, with the help of her Australian cameraman, Dean, played by Luke Mitchell. Besides Anna becoming a celebrity in Portugal, does this lead to love?

Heather Hemmens who plays Anna also stars as Maria Deluca on the CW series Roswell, New Mexico. She also recently starred in Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! and If Loving You is Wrong. Moreover Heather has a recurring role in the hit modern Western series, Yellowstone. Meanwhile, the actress has also starred in Hellcats on The CW, plus a recurring role on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy. Speaking of Hallmark movies, Hemmens recently starred in Love, Take Two.
As for Luke Mitchell, who plays Dean in the movie, the Australian actor has starred in a long-running soap, Neighbours. He also starred as Will Benjamin in the children’s drama series, H20: Just Add Water. Moreover, he went on to star in Home and Away as Romeo Smith.
According to the official IMDb page for the movie, Duarte Gomez, who plays a currently unnamed role, has starred in Offline, Massa Fresca and Where I Belong. Eric Geynes, who plays Hugo in the movie, has starred in Emily In Paris, The Bureau, Casualty and The Walking Dead: Last Mile.
