Holland Roden & Corey Cott Are Making Waves On Hallmark Channel

As summer heats up, Hallmark Channel is releasing a new, original movie, Making Waves as part of the network’s Summer Nights programming event. The movie stars Holland Roden and Corey Cott and is set to premiere on Saturday, August 5, at 8 pm ET/PT on Hallmark Channel. According to the official synopsis, Amelia (Holland Roden) is a music executive who heads to a festival in an attempt to beat out the competition for an elusive new band. However, once there, she discovers that the band is fronted by Will (Corey Cott), her childhood summer sweetheart.

Over the course of the week, Amelia tries to convince Will that her company is the better choice for his musical vision. However, she soon realizes there might be a conflict of interest… her feelings for him.

Where have you seen the cast before?

Holland Roden, who plays Amelia, has previously been seen in Teen Wolf, Lost, Follow Me and Escape Room: Tournament of Champions. She leads opposite Corey Cott as Will, who has starred in The Mascot, The Good Fight, Z: The Beginning of Everything and Fortune.

Although not yet credited, members of Will’s band are as follows: Jon Bryant (Resident Evil 4, Riverdale, The Bright Side and Marvel: Sentinels of the Space Ways). Stephan Miers (Riverdale, Fifty Shades Darker, The Fixer and Prison Break). Matt Mazur (Backstrom, Motive, Midnight Stallion and iZombie).

Behind the scenes of Making Waves

The new, original movie, Making Waves hails from Hallmark Media with Marguerite Henry acting as executive producer. Meanwhile, Charles Cooper is a producer and Allen Lewis serves as Supervising Producer. The movie is directed by Terry Ingram from a script penned by Laura Streicher.

When does Making Waves premiere on Hallmark Channel?

Making Waves is set to premiere on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 8 pm ET/PT on Hallmark Channel. The new romantic and musical movie forms part of the network’s popular annual Summer Nights programming event. So far, no trailer is available but as soon as it comes out, we will share.
