Holly Robinson Peete Signed Up To Multi-Picture Deal With Hallmark

Crown Media, Hallmark’s parent company, has made a deal with Holly Robinson Peete including exclusivity on holiday movies.

As noted by Deadline, Hallmark’s parent company, Crown Media has signed a multi-picture deal with Holly Robinson Peete. The actress is known for a number of Hallmark Channel movies, including her first, Angel of Christmas. She also starred as Michelle Lansing in the popular Evergreen Christmas movies. Some exciting news is out about a new multi-picture deal signed between Hallmark and Holly Robinson Peete. Starring in Hallmark movies is nothing new for Holly, who first starred in Angel of Christmas in 2015. This was followed by her role as Michelle Lansing in the popular Evergreen Christmas movies. Her most recent movie was Our Christmas Journey.

Lisa Hamilton Daly, Executive VP of programming for Crown Media Family Networks made a statement about the new deal. She noted that since Holly’s first movie on Hallmark, her intelligence, vulnerability and tireless advocacy work have led to her being one of their network’s “most beloved talents” on- and off-screen,

Daly said they are “so happy” to continue making movies with Holly and to be her official home for original TV movies at Christmas.

Meanwhile, Robinson Peete also shared her enthusiasm over the latest news, promising more collaboration. She noted that Hallmark is one of the “most unique and warm destinations on television, especially at Christmas.” Holly said she is “so proud” of the projects she and Hallmark have done together.

Robinson Peete also expressed how thrilled she is to continue her work with the network while collaborating on joyful and heartfelt movies. She also highlighted the special stories where viewers can see themselves.

Hallmark Channel News – Holly Robinson Peete’s Hallmark Career

As mentioned, Holly Robinson Peete made her first movie with Hallmark in 2015, leading to her starring in Evergreen Christmas movies. However, it was her most recent movie, Our Christmas Journey that really speaks to her.

In the film, Nik Sanchez plays her son and is on the spectrum. This was particularly important to the actress, as she and her husband, Rodney Peete, have a 23-year-old son, RJ, who is autistic. The heartwarming movie was made to particularly bring hope to others.

Robinson Peete headed to Instagram to share her joy over the new multi-picture deal with Crown Media. She captioned the post, writing, “Awww suki suki. So excited about this!!!” She went on to thank everyone at Hallmark Channel, writing that they have not only supported her career, but her family, her charity @hollyrodfdn, as well as the autism and Parkinson’s disease communities through their work together. Holly stressed that this is everything that is important to her right now.
