The new, original Hallmark movie, Eight Gifts of Hanukkah stars Inbar Lavi and Jake Epstein and is a warm and funny romantic treat for fans. According to the official Hallmark synopsis, Eight Gifts of Hanukkah tells the story of optometrist Sara Levin (Lavi), who receives a gift from an anonymous admirer on the first night of Hanukkah.
A note is attached to the gift is a note, but it offers no clues to the generous giver’s identity. However, it does hint that the coming week will reveal whether their relationship will bloom in time to celebrate the eighth night of Hanukkah together.
Meanwhile, Sara has only recently re-entered the dating scene, and she is tasked with figuring out which of her last few online and real-life dates could be her admirer. Every day, a new gift arrives, offering more clues, but even more questions. Sara rises to the challenge and, playing by the rules, is clever with her sleuthing abilities.
However, while planning the Hanukkah fundraiser ball, lighting the menorah, making latkes and spinning the dreidel, Sara discovers that her one true love could be someone she never expected.
