When Calls the Heart spoilers, news, and updates tease that fans are wondering whether there’s a chance that Lori Loughlin will return to the show’s upcoming 11th season. There’s no official news that she’s reprising her role as Abigail Stanton anytime soon but it’s possible right?
Fans know that Loughlin did reappear as Abigail, albeit not on When Calls The Heart. The actress returned as the beloved character on GAC Family’s When Hope Calls. She has a close relationship with Bill Abbott, the new head of the GAC family and a former top executive at Hallmark Channel.
Considering that Abigail is still an active character, it’s safe to assume that there’s always a possibility for her to return to When Calls the Heart. Additionally, Loughlin and Erin Krakow, who is both a star and executive producer of the show, still maintain a cordial relationship, based on their past social media interactions.
When Calls The Heart Spoilers – Producer Hires New Execs
Elsewhere, Motion Picture Corporation of America, the producer of Hallmark Channel’s When Calls The Heart, hired two new senior executives and re-upped a third. Jennifer Provencher, who used to work for Netflix, is now the SVP of Business Affairs.
Her primary focus will be on overseeing the business and legal matters pertaining to MPCA films and series. In addition to her current role as the Director of Business & Legal Affairs at Netflix, Provencher has previously held the position of VP, of Business and Legal Affairs for Shine America, which is now known as Endemol Shine North America.
Meanwhile, Courtney Colman has been named as the new Chief Financial Officer, leveraging her extensive experience in finance and leadership roles. In her new role at MPCA, Colman will be responsible for overseeing strategic planning, accounting, and finance, to name a few.
She has previously served as CFO at various organizations, including XPRIZE Foundation, Mob Scene, and Gold Circle Films. Prior to that, she held the positions of VP of Participations at Sony Pictures Entertainment and SVP of Finance & Business Development at CBS Films.
Finally, Amy Krell, an experienced producer, has renewed her contract with MPCA and will continue to oversee the company’s film and television projects from Los Angeles as well as various locations worldwide. Krell initially joined MPCA in 2010 as a freelance producer before transitioning to a full-time role in 2016.
With over 60 films under her belt, Krell has served in various capacities, including producer, executive producer, line producer, DGA unit production manager, and production executive.
