Hallmark favorite actress Jessica Lowndes has been missing from the network for a couple of years while in an exclusive contract with Great American Family. However, the good news is that Jessica is back on the feel-good network with the new, original movie, Happy Howlidays.

Fur-face lovers will certainly enjoy this last movie in Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas 2024. However, besides the cute dogs, this movie sees the return of Jessica Lowndes to the feel-good network.
Meanwhile, the movie stars the winner of the Finding Mr. Christmas reality show hosted by Jonathan Bennett, with Melissa Peterman as the lead judge. However, the episode with the winner has only aired on Hallmark+, and the male lead in Happy Howlidays is a mystery for now.

Meanwhile, according to TV Insider, the movie tells the story of Mia (Lowndes) a webpage editor for Seattle Tourism. She finds herself unexpectedly alone for the holidays and as the only person working she has an unusual encounter with a stray dog.

As she is unsure how to handle the situation, she crosses paths with Max (the mystery lead), the owner of a dog shelter. Mia agrees to let Max’s ailing dog find solace with her newfound companion, in exchange for him showing her the hidden gems of Seattle.
Through their journey together, Mia and Max both step out of their comfort zones, finding new perspectives and forming a meaningful connection.

According to IMDb, Lowndes, who plays Mia, is known for her roles in 90210 and Harmony From the Heart. Other cast includes Ella Cannon as Amy, who has previously starred in The Irrational and Letterkenny.
Meanwhile, Cassandra Sawtell plays the role of Penny and has been seen in She’s The Man and Harper’s Island. Ryan Cook, who plays Eddie in the movie, has previously starred in 90210 and See You on the Other Side. Lisa Shields plays a potential adopter and is known for her roles in Untold Stories of the ER and Debris.
When does Happy Howlidays premiere on Hallmark Channel?

The new, original movie Happy Howlidays premieres on Saturday, December 21, at 8 pm on Hallmark Channel as the last movie in the 2024 Countdown to Christmas. Meanwhile, Peacock subscribers can catch the movie up to 72 hours following the premiere.
