The Heiress and the Handyman on Hallmark Channel
According to the official synopsis, a case of mistaken identity leads to romance when Jodie Sweetin and Corey Sevier meet up. Wealthy heiress June Waltshire (Sweetin) is relaxing at one of her family’s six-star hotels in Greece when she suddenly finds out that her fortune has disappeared in a cryptocurrency crisis. All of it – no hotels, no cars, no yachts, and no designer bags.
She returns home to New York totally broke, with no love life and no life skills. However, June discovers a safe deposit box and the deed to a country house. When she arrives in the country, she soon realizes that she is truly a fish out of water in her new rural life. Moreover, she even mistakes her handsome neighbor, Bart Hudson (Sevier) for a handyman.
Meanwhile, Bart isn’t quite sure what to make of June, but he certainly is not a handyman. However, he does feel sorry for her predicament and shows her around town. Bart and June then band together to reclaim her family’s fall fair legacy, taking on apple pies and the livestock parade.
Moreover, as they prepare for state fair domination, June and Bart learn a lot about each other’s lives. However, when real feelings develop, June must decide where her heart truly lies.
