She was so determined to get her hands on that property at any cost, she sends one of her junior executives, Erika McNicol (Sweetin), to convince the owner to sell.
However, much to Erika’s surprise, the owner is Andy Holliday (O’Donnell), her former college boyfriend. As she spends time in the Christmas-centric town, trying to convince Andy and his father, Frank Holliday (Brian Doyle-Murray) to sell the property to Sharon, the city girl finds herself falling in love with the charms of Garland and her former boyfriend.
Moreover, the experience changes Erika so much that she learns that business has been poor and he is on the verge of bankruptcy. She decides to use her knowledge and experience to help him keep the bed & breakfast that she has been sent to take away from him.

Is the movie going to explain what happened to Candace Cameron Bure’s character from “Christmas Under Wraps” since David O’Donnell is playing the same character, Andy Holiday, in this movie. Whatever has happened to true love??
Candace has since moved to Great American Family. It is a pity they didn’t do a sequel before she left.
That Doesn’t answer the question about how they explained Candace Cameron’s absence
Hi, unfortunately, we will all have to wait until the movie comes out.
I think the same does’nt make sense
If this is a sequel to Christmas Under Wraps, what happened to Andy and the doctor? Did their relationship not work out? I mean, this is the same town (Garland), and the same Andy and Frank Holiday from Christmas Under Wraps, right? Just curious!

Haven’t seen this movie yet, and while i like all of the actors who will be appearing, i think many Hallmark fans will find disappointment that Andy (David O’Donnell) didn’t last with Dr. Lauren Brunell (Candance Cameron Bure) from Christmas Under Wraps. Yes, i realize this film is not being marketed as a sequel, but we all recognize the same town and same characters from Christmas Under Wraps. It’s a shame that Hallmark waited sooooo long to make a “sequel” to the fan favorite movie, that by the time they got around to it, Candace Cameron Bure was leaving for the GAC network.
I take it back. It’s absolutely a sequel.
I’m also hoping they give some kind of explanation of what happened to Dr. Brunell. With characters Andy, his dad and Hattie all Included in this movie, it’s going to be a distraction throughout the movie until it’s addressed. Fingers crossed. However, I hope they don’t kill her off. That would just be sad and a bit of a jab.
What does this say about the Hallmark “true love” theme. Although I love the actors, this is a big mistake. This leaves us wondering about all the other characters we watched fall in love.
Don’t think I will watch it. Christmas Under Wraps was one of my favorites.
How do you do this movie And bring everyone back but Dr. Brunell? Very distracting to watch wondering what happened to her. Especially since Candace and Jodie are basically family. Very odd.
Christmas Under Wraps was one of the really special, stand-out Hallmark Christmas movies. The characters were so likable you found yourself rooting for each one of them. Now we have Andy and Frank and Hattie…and no mention of Dr. Brunell or what happened to the relationship between Andy and Lauren. And where’s Billie and Wyatt? Did the hospital just disappear? At least give the viewers some continuity.
Just finished watching the movie. The actors played their parts good. But I didn’t like the movie. It just kills the Christmas under wraps movie, which I really like. It’s a movie I can watch over and over.
