Book-loving fans are getting a treat as Hallmark Mystery is set to premiere the new, original movie, A Novel Noel. The movie premieres as part of the network’s Miracle of Christmas programming event and stars Julie Gonzalo and Brendan Penny. Read on to find out more about the movie and its cast.

A Novel Noel on Hallmark Mystery

According to TV Insider, a New York City book editor (Gonzalo) takes on a temporary gig running a Maine bookstore. While she has always been passionate about fostering creativity, she experienced some disheartening problems that made her lose hope.

Meanwhile, she found hope again when she was selected to spend a month in bucolic Saint Ives in December. She will run the town’s bookstore, which is her dream job. However, the bookstore owners have a son (Penny), who is good-looking but financially acts like Scrooge.

Meanwhile, she finds ways to help encourage others to be creative and to bring out people’s talents. Moreover, she soon realizes this is still her life’s calling, even though sometimes she has to deal with cranky people. However, identifying talent is her superpower and she finds new ways of bringing holiday cheer and fulfillment to all, also maybe love.

Where have you seen the cast before?

Julie Gonzalo who plays the book editor has previously starred in Christmas with the Kranks and A Cinderella Story. She leads with Brendan Penny who stars as the book owner’s son is known for his roles in The A-Team and Whistler.
