According to the official synopsis, it’s Christmastime in a Vermont ski town, where Joy (Leclerc) a young brewmaster and local champion skier, runs her family’s classic ski pub, Mogul Joe’s, with her mother, Mary (Joanna Herrington). Times have been tough for the pub since Joy’s father passed away and she wonders how they’re going to pay the bills this Christmas.

However, one day, Joy’s former boyfriend, Greg (John Forest) wanders in and tells them about the new Brew-Ski competition he is holding at his rival establishment, Frosty’s. Joy and Mary are intrigued as winning that competition could be the Christmas miracle they seek. Meanwhile, Joy meets Zac (McPartlin), a charming but struggling novice skier, on the mountain when he crashes into her getting off the lift.

Joy hesitates when she finds out Zac is the beer distributor for Scholz Beer, who supplies Frosty’s. However, Zac wins Joy over with his charm and exceptional beer-tasting pallet. She agrees to give Zac ski lessons and in return, he helps her create a new seasonal microbrew called Hoppy Holiday IPA for the Brew-Ski competition.

As the new holiday IPA sells like crazy and seems to turn her business around, Joy and Zac’s feelings for each other blossom. However, when a suspiciously similar brew shows up at Frosty’s, Joy can’t help but suspect Zac, as she believes he’s the only one who knows the secret recipe.

As Christmas Eve fast approaches, Joy races to uncover the truth behind the theft of her new recipe in the hope of saving her family’s business and rekindling her new romance with Zac.
