Hallmark Channel has produced a sequel to the popular movie, Big Sky River, starring WTCH star Kavan Smith and Emmanuelle Vaugier. Big Sky River: The Bridal Path on Hallmark
According to the press release, this sequel to the 2022 hit movie, Big Sky River, the movie tells the story of Tara Kendall (Vaugier) who is now settled in Montana and dating Sheriff and cowboy, Boone Taylor (Smith).
She is working to bring their family lives together, but soon tensions arise, as they both realize that blending their families will be more of a challenge than they expected. Erin (Cassidy Nugent) struggles to find her place in both families, as now she not only has to share Tara with Boone’s children, but her father, James (Peter Benson) looks forward to the baby boy of his dreams.

However, a new foreign exchange student has arrived in town and he may be able to give Erin the attention she seeks. Meanwhile, Country sensation, Casey Elder (Michelle Harrison) has found herself a genuine, down-to-earth beau and her new album seems to stem from her new romance.

Emmanuel Vaugier, who plays Tara Kendall, has previously starred in Supergirl and Big Sky River. Meanwhile, Kavan Smith, who plays Boone Taylor, has starred in When Calls the Heart and Big Sky River.

Cassidy Nugent plays Tara’s daughter, Erin and has previously been seen in The Good Doctor, while Peter Benson plays Tara’s father, James, and is known for his roles in The Wedding Contract. Michelle Harrison plays Casey Elder and has previously starred in The Flash.

The sequel to Big Sky River hails from Sky Road Productions II Ltd. and Front Street Pictures Inc. Executive producers include Harvey Kahn, Marnie Young, Patricia Clifford and Libby Beers. Meanwhile, the movie is produced by Charles Cooper and directed by Peter Benson from a script by J.B. White based on the novel by Linda Lael Miller.
When does the movie premiere on Hallmark?
Please note that this movie originally premiered on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. However, after it changed to Hallmark Mystery, the movie is now set to premiere on Hallmark Channel. Big Sky River: The Bridal Path premieres on Saturday, May 25 at 8 pm ET/PT on Hallmark.
