The Dancing Detective: The Deadly Tango on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
Coming soon to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, The Dancing Detective: The Deadly Tango stars Lacey Chabert and Will Kemp. According to the official synopsis, Constance Bailey (Lacey Chabert) is a no-nonsense detective, who always insists on doing everything her own way, which basically means she does everything alone. While she does get results, her inability to keep a partner is holding her back in her career.
However, the CEO of global ballroom company, Aston International, is murdered at a luxury resort in Malta on the eve of a company event. This leads to strings being pulled with Interpol to send Detective Bailey to investigate. While the high-stakes ballroom competition between the company’s senior executives moves forward as planned, Bailey goes undercover as Aston’s newest hire.
There’s only one problem – Bailey can’t dance. To make her dancing convincing, she reluctantly teams up with the free-spirited, charismatic British dancer and actor, Sebastian Moore (Will Kemp), who poses as her husband. Meanwhile, Moore’s crime-solving instincts are as good as his dancing, even if the only thing he knows about detective work comes from watching too much TV.
Meanwhile, Sebastian soon helps Bailey to relax, both on the dance floor and in her work. However, with a killer on the loose, as well as a growing list of suspects, if Bailey wants to solve the case, she will have to learn to trust her partner.
