Lacey Chabert Lands Multi Picture Exclusive Deal With Hallmark Channel

Hallmark ChannelPopular actress Lacey Chabert and Crown Media Family Networks have signed an exclusive multi-picture deal on Hallmark Channel. Under this new agreement, Chabert will headline and executive-produce movies and other content for Hallmark Channel, as well as other Hallmark platforms over the next two years. Hallmark Channel – Lacey Chabert Signs A Multi-Picture Deal With Hallmark Channel

The news of the deal was announced in a statement on Monday by Lisa Hamilton Daly, EVP of programming at Crown Media Family Networks. Daly said: “Lacey’s warmth, talent, relatability and creative sensibilities have endeared her to millions of Hallmark viewers for more than ten years, making her one of our most in-demand stars.”

“In addition to shining on-screen, Lacey is a prolific behind-the-scenes creative partner, developing and executive producing many of our highest-quality, most-beloved projects. She inherently understands and embodies what our networks are all about – the transformational power of love and making people feel good – and we look forward to continuing our work with her to create heartfelt, compelling stories that will entertain, inspire and touch our audience,” the EVP added.

As noted by Deadline, Chabert also stars in and executive produces the popular Crossword Mysteries movie series on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. She started her Hallmark career with Elevator Girl in 2010. Since then, Lacey has appeared in more than 30 original films across Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie & Mysteries.

Hallmark Channel – Mainstay

Over the last few years, Lacey has become a mainstay for the network by starring in several Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries original movies. She also recently served as a star, developer and executive producer on the Wedding Veil crossover trilogy.

The first movie aired in January and became the second-most-watched non-holiday movie for audiences over 18. Meanwhile, the second and third movies in the trilogy premiered earlier in February to big audiences.

Speaking of working at Hallmark, Chabert said her experience with the network has been a home for her over the last ten years. She said how wonderful and “beyond rewarding” it was to create characters and develop stories that resonate with viewers.

“I’m also incredibly grateful to Crown’s programming team for supporting me as a producer and empowering me to develop and star in projects that bring my passion and creative vision to life. I am so excited for what’s next and to continue connecting with Hallmark’s audience.” Lacey added.

    Loving the wedding veil movies! I can't wait to see #3.. They are so refreshingly light hearted and happy,… something we need more of now!
