Lacey Chabert & Scott Wolf In A Merry Scottish Christmas on Hallmark

More details are finally out for the new, original Hallmark holiday movie, A Merry Scottish Christmas. The movie reunites Party of Five alums Lacey Chabert and Scott Wolf as two American siblings who journey to Scotland to uncover a life-changing family secret.

A Merry Scottish Christmas on Hallmark Channel

According to the official synopsis, once-close siblings Dr. Lindsey Morgan (Chabert) and Brad Morgan (Wolf) have grown apart over the years. For this reason, it is with great reluctance that they agree to visit their mother’s childhood home in Scotland for Christmas.

Meanwhile, this is their first time there, but they end up falling in love with the beautiful Glencrave and its 15th-century castle. Lindsey and Brad also love the many unique Christmas traditions steeped in history, as well as the warm and friendly townspeople.

However, their holiday visit becomes complicated for everyone, after the Morgan siblings learn a colossal family secret their mom has kept from them until now. 

Meanwhile, as the siblings work hard to strengthen their relationship, Lindsey is attracted to Glencrave’s handsome estate manager (James Robinson). They must now decide what is important to them in order to determine their own individual futures.

Lacey Chabert, who plays Dr. Lindsey Morgan, has starred in many Hallmark movies, as well as Mean Girls and Party of Five. Meanwhile, Scott Wolf plays Brad Morgan, and has starred in Nancy Drew and, of course, Party of Five. The handsome estate manager, James Robinson, has previously starred in Babylon.

Meanwhile, Fiona Bell plays an uncredited role and is known for Trainspotting. Moreover, Kellie Blaise also plays an uncredited role and has previously starred in The Borgias. Irish actor Gerry O’Brien is also in an uncredited role and is known for his role in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.

The new, original Hallmark movie, A Merry Scottish Christmas hails from Synthetic Cinema International and Treehouse Media. Lacey Chabert, Scott Wolf and Andrew Gerhard act as executive producers. Moreover, Edwina Forkin is a producer while Molly Mayeux serves as line producer. Dustin Rikert directs the movie from a script penned by Andrea Canning and Audrey Schulman.
