When Calls The Heart viewers will be in for a treat when this week’s episode airs on The Hallmark Channel. There’s a new addition to the WTCH cast, and Austin Landon is slated to make his debut on Saturday February 6.

Last week Michael Landon Jr. took to social media and made a special announcement. Landon is the creator and showrunner of Hallmark’s wildly popular series.
Plus, he’s the son of Hollywood legend Michael Landon. Senior Landon is well known for his role on Little House On The Prairie, among many other credits. Michael Landon Jr revealed that his son Austin has joined the WCTH cast and will appear on the series next week.
Michael Landon’s Son Arrives In Hope Valley
Michael Landon Jr wrote on Instagram, “So proud of my son Austin Landon! Tune in to this week’s episode of When Calls the Heart” to see him as Mountie Briggs, who arrives in Hope Valley with some exciting new technology.”
The official When Calls The Heart Instagram page also shared a photo of Austin Landon dressed as Mountie Briggs and teased, “Did you hear the news, #Hearties? @michaellandonjr1’s talented son, @austin_landon, joins When Calls the Heart this week! Any guesses about his character? Drop them below. Give Austin a warm Hearties welcome!”
