Luke Macfarlane and Peter Porte in Notes of Autumn
According to TV Insider, Hallmark Channel has announced the new rom-com movie, Notes of Autumn, coming just in time for the fall season.
The plot features Leo (Luke Macfarlane), a successful author who is experiencing a difficult writer’s block.
Meanwhile, after feeling the pressure to complete the new installment of his popular series of books, Leo swaps homes with his best friend, Ellie (Ashley Williams) for a while.
While staying in Ellie’s house, Leo meets Matt (Peter Porte), who helps him get out of his own way when it comes to writing something new and inspiring.
This leads to Leo and Matt’s newfound friendship turning into something far more meaningful. At the same time, Ellie is experiencing a similar situation with Sam (Marcus Rosner).
Where did we last see the stars of the movie?
Luke Macfarlane was last spotted starring in the movie Bros as well as starring in the Hallmark movie, A Magical Christmas Village. Fans also watched him play Charlie on the Apple TV+ series, Platonic.
Meanwhile, Peter Porte recently starred in shows such as Uncoupled and NCIS and also starred as Dimitri Von Leuschner on Days of Our Lives.
As for Marcus Rosner, the actor has also starred in several Hallmark movies, including Love on Harbor Island, Romance to the Rescue and Yes, I Do.

When does Notes of Autumn premiere?
The new LGBTQ+ rom-com Notes of Autumn premieres on September 16 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel.
I like Luke MacFarlane and Peter Porte, but Notes of Autumn ending was a huge disappointment for me. Luke has stared in Mistletoe Promise, Birthday Wish and other movies that I thought were top notch. Peter was very good in Love at the Beach and a couple of other movies that he stared in. I will do my best to avoid this movie in the future.
