Moms Match Erica Durance & Jordan Young In A Scottish Love Scheme on Hallmark

As part of its New Year New Movies programming event, Hallmark Channel announces the premiere of the movie, A Scottish Love Scheme.

According to the press release, a mother-daughter trip to Scotland brings reunions and unexpected lovemaking.

Lily (Durance) is ready to accompany her mother, Cait (Jo Cameron Brown) on their annual trip to Cait’s Scottish birthplace in Scotland.  Meanwhile, the two women are going earlier than usual, which Lily believes is her mother’s way of taking her mind off her recent love problems.

Moreover, the trip starts off with a wonderful reunion between Cait and her childhood best friend, Mairi (Juliet Cadzow). As for Lily, she also enjoys a reunion with Mairi’s son Logan (Young). After seeing the pair laughing together, Cait and Mairi hatch a matchmaking plot to get the two to spend even more time together.

Meanwhile, as Lily and Logan hang out together, romantic feelings form between them. However, when Cait feels faint, Lily learns that her mother has cancer, a diagnosis she was hiding until after the trip. However, Lily and Logan put together a heartfelt scavenger hunt for her mother and vow to fight the diagnosis together.

Erica Durance, who plays Lily, has previously starred in Ms. Christmas Comes Town, while Jordan Young, who plays Logan, is known for his role in Vigil. Jo Cameron Brown, who stars as Lily’s mom Cait, has been seen in BBC Scotland’s River City. Cait’s friend Mairi is played by Juliet Cadzow, who is known for her role in Balamory.

According to the official IMDb page for the movie, other cast includes Jack Stewart (Outlander) as Caleb Campbell, Bradley Connell (Outlander) as Finn Campbell and James Mackenzie (Raven) as Rory Campbell.
