The movie stars Natalie Hall and Peter Mooney and premieres on September 24 as part of the network’s Fall Into Love programming event. Hallmark Channel’s Fly Away With Me

The new, original Hallmark movie forms part of the network’s annual Fall Into Love programming event and tells a tale of love taking off. According to the official synopsis, Angie (Natalie Hall) is an overworked aspiring writer who finally gets her own condo. However, on the first day after moving in, a parrot flies in through the balcony door. While Angie has no idea who owns the errant parrot, she does know pets aren’t allowed in the condo building.

While visiting a local pet shop, Angie meets Ted (Peter Mooney), an air traffic controller who lives in her building. In fact, it turns out he lives right next door to her. Meanwhile, Angie soon discovers that Ted is hiding a pet of his own, his sister’s dog, Zoe. A comical back-and-forth ensues as Angie tries to hide the parrot and Ted tries to hide Zoe.

Eventually, Angie and Ted make a pact to have each other’s back as they work together to duck Gineen (Melinda Michael), their strict condo manager. Despite their best efforts, Angie’s hopes fly out of the window as the parrot escapes. Even worse, the traitorous parrot lands on Gineen, who promptly evicts Angie.

Meanwhile, believing Ted never really had her back, Angie leaves, feeling heartbroken until she receives unexpected and exciting news.

The role of Angie is played by Natalie Hall who has previously been seen in True Blood and Road Trip Romance. She plays opposite Peter Mooney, who has previously starred in Rookie Blue and Saving Hope. Meanwhile, Melinda Michael plays the condo manager Gineen and has starred in Fit For a Prince.
