The new Hallmark Channel movie is all about finding the right balance in life. As per the Hallmark synopsis, Lauren (Reeser) is an established creator and ambassador of her wellness brand, known as The 27-Hour Day. In her work, she runs a blog about wellness and efficiency. Basically, she offers people tips and tricks to make their daily activities and chores more efficient.

While she is all about efficiency, an important meeting with her business idol goes wrong and Lauren finds she needs to step away to get some perspective. A self-proclaimed “girl-on-the-go,” she has no idea how to actually take a break, as she has never even had a vacation. However, Lauren agrees to go on a mountain retreat where she hopes to reconnect with herself.

However, Lauren also meets retreat owner Jack (Walker), who knows right away that she is a workaholic from the big city. While Jack wants to expand his family business and not get involved with a guest, there is something about Lauren. While he teaches her to relax, Lauren teaches him how to “seize the moment.”

During her relaxing week in the mountains of Montana, Lauren suddenly realizes that she needs to reprioritize what is important in her life, as she finds herself falling for Jack. She also wonders what will happen when she returns home to New York. Will Jack follow?
