Most of us can sympathize with a person for not completing their New Year’s Resolutions. In Sealed With a List on Hallmark Channel, we see one lucky person enlisting the aid of an unlikely accomplice to resolve the previous year’s incomplete resolutions.

From the images shared here, it looks like Sealed With a List is full of smiles for the holidays. According to the official synopsis, the movie tells the story of Carley Kincaid (Findlay), who has spent far too long in a dead-end job.

Meanwhile, year after year, she ponders the previous year’s list of incomplete New Year’s resolutions. Due to this, when life throws her a curveball, she enlists the help of an unlikely accomplice to make some changes.

A year ago, Carley told her best friend Jamie (Kelcey Mawema) that another year would not go by without making some life changes.

In fact, she even went so far as to create a New Year’s Resolution checklist. However, when she’s passed over for a promotion she is more than qualified for, in favor of her boss’ son, Wyatt (Roderick), Carley seizes the opportunity to quit her job.

Meanwhile, after revisiting last year’s list of resolutions, Carley gives herself 31 days to complete everything on it. Moreover, disinterested in anything other than his trust fund, Wyatt proves he is completely wrong for the position and tries to make amends.

Realizing his carefree approach to life might be just what she needs to get on with hers, Carley makes the surprising decision to enlist his aid. While Wyatt is now cut off by Daddy until he proves himself, the pair strike a deal. Carley will teach him independence, while Wyatt will help her move out of her responsible comfort zone.

As Carley and Wyatt whittle down her list, she starts to realize that her initial opinion of Wyatt may have been off the mark. With her newfound confidence and his newly formed independence, these two complete opposites may strike the perfect balance.

Where have you seen the cast before?

Katie Findlay, who plays Carley, has previously been seen in The Carrie Diaries and Love Strikes Twice. She leads opposite Evan Roderick as Wyatt, who has previously starred in A Tale of Two Christmases and Autumn in the City. Meanwhile, Carley’s BFF Jamie is played by Kelcey Mawema of Totally Killer and Superman & Lois fame.

According to the official IMDb page for the movie, other cast members include Madonna Gonzalez (Yellowjackets) as Kendra and Daylin Willis (Firefly Lane) as Brad. Meanwhile, Jai Braithwaite (Been There All Along) plays Vincent, Jason Asuncion (Heartland) is in the role of Hank and Sofia Hodsoni (Family Law) plays Olivia.
