Promo Released For Mistletoe Murders With Sarah Drew & Peter Mooney On Hallmark+

Hallmark+ continues to gain popularity as it releases new movies, series, unscripted series and more. The latest promo comes from the Mistletoe Murders series, starring Grey’s Anatomy alum Sarah Drew and Peter Mooney.

Meanwhile, the six-episode mystery drama reveals that Drew’s character isn’t all she seems. Read on to learn what we know so far about the holiday series and its cast.

Mistletoe Murders: Sarah Drew & Peter Mooney investigate a Hallmark+ mystery

As Hallmark Media in general starts teasing some of the best Christmas movies, Sarah Drew’s new six-episode series, Mistletoe Murders is coming soon to Hallmark+. During this holiday season, mystery includes what Drew’s character in the series is hiding.

The series is based on the Audible series of the same name, voiced by Cobie Smulders and Raymond Ablack. Meanwhile, the series tells the story of Emily Lane (Drew), described in the synopsis as the “outwardly friendly and optimistic shop owner of a charming year-round Christmas-themed store, Under the Mistletoe.”

However, her inner voice reveals a sardonic sense of humor, cunning intellect, and keen eye for details most people would miss… because Emily has a big secret.

While living in the quaint tourist town of Fletcher’s Grove, Emily becomes compelled to investigate “not-so-quaint” local murders. Meanwhile, as she starts her investigations, Detective Sam Wilner (Mooney), who has a crush on Emily that isn’t completely unrequited – starts to wonder if there is more to her than meets the eye.

Where have you seen the cast before?

Sarah Drew, who plays Emily, is famous for her former role in Grey’s Anatomy but has since starred in several Hallmark movies, including Guiding Emily, One Summer, Christmas in Vienna and Christmas Pan Pals. Meanwhile, Peter Mooney plays Detective Wilner and has previously starred in Burden of Truth and Rookie Blue.

Other cast includes Sierra Marilyn Riley as Sam’s teenage daughter, Jean Yoon of Kim’s Convenience. Moreover, Lara Amersey stars, who is known for Operation Nutcracker and Kylee Evans of Good Witch fame.

Moreover, David Hewlett (See) has a recurring role, and guest stars are Tom Cavanagh (The Flash), Jake Epstein (Suits) and Steven Lund (Schitt’s Creek).
