Rachelle Lefevre and Niall Matter star in a new, original movie on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. The movie is based on the book The Apple Orchard by NY Times Bestselling author Susa Wiggs. Meanwhile, according to the official synopsis, Tess Delaney (Lefevre) gets the surprising news from estate executor Damhnaic McAuley (Matter) that she has inherited half of an apple orchard. It turns out the orchard was owned by her late father, who she never knew, and that she also has a half-sister named Isabel (Helena Marie).

When Tess decides to visit the orchard, she connects with her new-found family but soon learns that the orchard is deep in debt. Using her knowledge as an antiques expert, Tess works with Isabel to unravel the mystery of their grandmother’s “treasure” that could hold the key to saving the orchard. In the process, Tess ultimately finds a new understanding of herself.

Rachelle Lefevre, who plays Tess Delaney, is known for her roles in Moriah’s Lighthouse and The Twilight Saga. She also appeared in several episodes of Boston Legal and went on to star in Life on Mars.

Niall Matter stars as Damhnaic McAuley and is known for A Rip in Time and A Christmas Together With You. Meanwhile, he was previously in The Predator (2018), Watchmen (2009) and Primeval: New World (2012).
