Rebecca Dalton and Jonathan Keltz are about to give the holidays a makeover in Christmas By Design on Hallmark Channel. The new, original movie premieres as part of the network’s popular Countdown to Christmas and will debut later this month. According to the official synopsis, Rebecca Dalton plays Charlotte, a luxury fashion designer. She is working hard to make a name for herself in her New York City boutique, Alastair. Due to this, she is thrilled when she learns she has been picked to participate in a design competition for the renowned Warwick’s department store.
Meanwhile, the assignment is to create a Christmas-themed collection for their home & family brand. However, there is a problem, as Charlotte is just not into Christmas. In fact, she can barely recall the last time she put aside her work long enough to enjoy quality time with her family.

When a pipe unexpectedly bursts in her apartment, she takes this as an omen and returns home for a family Christmas in the hope that this will quickly inspire her next design. Meanwhile, Charlotte arrives just in time to be drawn into the town’s annual 12 Days of Elfcapades event, where she meets a handsome mechanic, Spencer (Jonathan Keltz) who helps to run the festivities.
Moreover, despite a rocky first impression, the couple forms a deep connection, giving Charlotte the creative spark she so desperately needs to inspire a new Christmas design. In fact, it is one that is completely different from anything she has done before.

Rebecca Dalton, who plays Charlotte, has famously been seen in The Dog Lover’s Guide to Dating and Good Witch. Meanwhile, Jonathan Keltz, who plays Spencer, has previously been seen in Reign and Fit for a Prince.
Currently, no details are available as to the rest of the movie’s cast or their roles. However, from the images, it is clear that a number of actors are starring in Christmas by Design. While their roles are unknown, the cast includes Debra Hale (American Gods), Joanna Douglas (Rookie Blue), Tim Progosh (Roadtrip Romance) and Susan Hamann (Luckiest Girl Alive).

Christmas by Design hails from Johnson Production Group with Timothy O. Johnson, David Andrew C. Erin, and Oliver De Cagny executive producing. Meanwhile, Joseph Wilka is co-executive producer and Josie Fitzgerald serves as producer. The movie is directed by Maxwell McGuire from a script penned by Carley Smale and based on the book Jingle Jammies by Robyn Neeley.
