Rhiannon Fish & Christopher Russell Hope To Save A Costa Rican Wedding on Hallmark

Hallmark Channel has released details of an upcoming, new and original movie, A Costa Rican Wedding, starring Rhiannon Fish and Christopher Russell.

The lead characters set out to save the day when things go awry at a friend’s Costa Rican wedding. What happened to make them try to save the day? Read on to find out about the movie’s plot and its cast and see beautiful images taken on the film set.

A Costa Rican Wedding on Hallmark Channel

According to the official synopsis, West Coast surf swells and warm sand are just what the doctor ordered for Emily (Fish) as she tries to get over her latest breakup. Meanwhile, standing next to her best friend, Phoebe (Brittany Carel) as her aid of honor is a dream come true. However, it quickly turns into a nightmare when a group of rascally monkeys steal Emily’s bag – and the priceless, heirloom wedding rings she was holding onto.

Desperate to forgo her clumsy reputation and not be responsible for ruining the wedding, Emily teams up with an unlikely aide, Ryan (Russell), the best man and her longtime rival. Meanwhile, as a local tour guide, Ryan believes he knows the incredible land of this tropical country, but maybe not as well as he thought.

Their unexpected misadventure takes Emily and Ryan from stunning jungle volcanoes to surreal ancient archaeological sites. By helping each other, the couple finds a way to get past their old hang-ups and find common ground while trying to save the big day.

Rhiannon Fish who plays Emily in the new movie has previously starred in My Norwegian Holiday. Meanwhile, Christopher Russell who plays the role of Ryan, has previously been seen in Operation Nutcracker. Meanwhile, Emily’s best friend Phoebe is played by Brittany Carel of Fatal Fixer Upper fame.

Meanwhile, uncredited roles are played by CJ Hammond (Revenge For Daddy), Kourtney George (A Holiday Change) and Gregory M. Mitchell (The Perfect In-Laws).

The new, original movie A Costa Rican Wedding, hails from Johnson Production Group with  Timothy O. Johnson and Joseph Wilka executive producing.  Lisa Alford serves as co-executive producer and David Boyles serves as producer.  The film is directed by Colin Theys from a script by Juliana Wimbles.
