Ride Next Episode ‘When It Rains’ Sees Dark Skies Ahead For The McMurrays

The McMurray family has dark skies heading to them in the upcoming, new episode of Hallmark Channel’s series Ride. In fact, the episode, titled “When It Rains…” will see the McMurrays facing dark skies for more than one reason. Read on to find out what we know so far about the episode, airing on Hallmark Channel on Sunday, April 23 at 8 pm ET/PT.

‘When It Rains…’ in the Hallmark series Ride

According to the official synopsis, the all-new episode of Hallmark’s Ride sees dark skies heading for the McMurray family. Nancy Travis (Last Man Standing), Tiera Skovbye (Riverdale, Beau Mirchoff (Shameless, Hidden Gems), Sara Garcia (The Flash), Jake Foy (Designated Survivor and Tyler Jacob Moore (Shameless) star in the show.

In what could be the perfect storm,  Missy (Skovbye) brings Cash (Mirchoff) as her plus-one to the Frontier BBQ. However, he feels out of place after his biggest competition, Hudson Cooper (Orin McCusker, Wynonna Earp) also attends.

Meanwhile, as Missy coaches Cash on how to make a good impression, she is haunted by memories of Austin (Marcus Rosner, The Love Club). Moreover, she is caught off guard by a strangely familiar woman (Holly Deveaux, 12 Monkeys).

Back on the ranch, Hank (Greg Lawson, Heartland) surprises Isabel with some exciting news. However, she doesn’t take it as well as he had hoped.

When the McMurrays find out that a huge rainstorm has shifted and is heading their way by nightfall, everyone works together to save all the hay bales but has no hope of succeeding with only one working tractor. However, Valeria (Garcia) has to put aside her differences with Tuff (Foy) to try to revive one of Dusty’s old, broken rigs. When the task seems impossible, the pair consider an outside offer of help from an unlikely source.

Meanwhile, when Missy and Cash return to the ranch, tensions over the day’s events create a perfect storm.
