Ryan Paevey Has Unexpected Reaction On Possible Return To Hallmark

General Hospital alum and previous Hallmark hunk Ryan Paevey stepped away from acting a year ago. At the time, he gave the reason as his overall burnout with Hollywood, as well as his mother’s battle with lung cancer.

Over the past year, he has shared beach photos on social media with his fans and followers. Moreover, Paevey shares images of the beautiful jewelry he sells on his website.

However, in recent months, there have been hints that the Unleashing Mr. Darcy star may return to acting.

Is Ryan Paevey returning to Hallmark?

The General Hospital alum has always been popular with Hallmark viewers and many miss seeing him starring on the feel-good channel. While he had sworn off acting, when a fan asked him if he was returning to acting for Hallmark, he had an unexpected response.

It has now been a year since Peavey gave up on acting, but it does look like he might get involved again. The General Hospital alum recently held a two-day fan event in San Diego, and now he is also participating in a Christmas Fan Event.

He shared a poster on Instagram that included himself with Arielle Kebbel and Chad Michael Murray for Christmas In A Small Town. Paevey captioned his post, writing,

Cue the snowflakes and summer sunshine, because Christmas in A Small town is bringing the holiday magic to @cityofdahlonega this July with @decadedayz!

After he shared the poster, it looks like Ryan is planning on returning to acting and the Christmas movie fan event is the first related activity he has done in some time. One fan commented, asking when the movie would premiere on Hallmark Channel, to which he replied, “it’s not a film….details in the caption.”

However, another of his fans took the opportunity to ask the actor whether he was returning to Hallmark Channel, writing:

Ryan, please tell us this means you’re coming back to Hallmark We miss you so much.

His answer? “That’s a question for them, haha. I’m gonna see if i can find a friendly face there to have a conversation with…who knows, worth a shot.”

After his semi-positive response, fans are wondering what will happen. It has been 18 months since his last Hallmark movie premiered. Meanwhile, fans want to find out more and another asked for clarification, commenting, “That’s awesome. Are you saying that you’re going back to Hallmark or are you just taking it slow for now?”

His teasing reply?

That’s not my call to make. I’d love to do a film now and again. If they’d be keen.
