According to the official synopsis, an interior designer, Hayley (Taylor Cole), plans to surprise her mother Patricia (Jacqueline Ann Steuart) with the perfect Christmas present, the extended family she knows her mom yearns for. While, in herself, Hayley thinks she and her mom are fine alone, she recently uncovered the existence of a lost relative, Patricia’s brother.

In fact, Hayley hopes to find him and reunite the siblings for Christmas and travels to a town outside of Denver. She is chasing a lead on a man named Gordon (Grant Vlahovic), the owner of a cabin construction company who might just be her uncle.

On arrival in the town, she finds it delightful and all decked out for Christmas. Meanwhile, she is equally charmed when meeting Gordon, his daughter Brianna (Stephanie Van Dyk) and property manager Jake ( Benjamin Ayres). As Hayley tries to confirm whether Gordon is her long-lost uncle, she starts to fall in love with the idea of an extended family, the charming town, and Jake.
