For some of us, the weather is still hot from summer, but heading to the fall, but that doesn’t stop Hallmark Channel getting us excited over 2023 Countdown to Christmas.
The network just released a sneak peek video for movies premiering in October and beyond. Read on to find out more about 2023 Countdown to Christmas on Hallmark.
Hallmark teases 2023 Countdown to Christmas
As fans know, Christmas always comes early on Hallmark Channel. For that lovely reason, the network has released a sneak peek into its original movie fare for the coming holidays.
We get to find out about the movie premieres starting in October and up until the big day itself.
Among the holiday fare is a sequel to the fun Haul Out the Holly, titled Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up. Moreover, we will get to experience A Merry Scottish Christmas, as well as A Biltmore Christmas.
About the movies
A Merry Scottish Christmas
A Merry Scottish Christmas sees Lindsay (Lacey Chabert) and her brother Brad (Scott Wolf) return while traveling to Scotland for Christmas. Once there, the sister and brother reunite with their mother, Jo (Fiona Bell) and uncover a huge family secret.
A Biltmore Christmas
A Biltmore Christmas features Kristoffer Polaha and Bethany Joy Lenz and tells the story of a skilled screenwriter, Lucy, seizing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
She is recruited to write the screenplay for the modern adaptation of the much-loved holiday classic movie, His Merry Bride!
However, while exploring the beautiful Biltmore Estate to do research, her attention is captured by a beautiful hourglass.
When she accidentally tips it over, Lucy is unexpectedly transported back in time to the year 1946, a period often dubbed the Golden Age of Hollywood.
Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up
Meanwhile, Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up is a hilarious sequel to last year’s hit comedy movie. Returning cast members are Lacey Chabert, Wes Brown, Stephen Tobolowsky, Melissa Peterman and Ellen Travolta. Moreover, Seth Morris and Jennifer Asped join the cast for the sequel.
According to the synopsis, Emily (Chabert) and Jared (Brown) are looking forward to celebrating the holidays as a couple. However, as a house on their block is put up for sale, this causes quite the star among the residents of Evergreen Lane.
