What Happened Last Week?
In the episode titled “No Trespassing, Y’all” from last week’s The Chicken Sisters, Augusta “Gus” Moore (Wendie Malick) was gradually reigniting her romance with Clayton Briggs (David James Elliott). He was “workin’ right hard” to atone for his previous errors.
He captivated Mae Moore (Genevieve Angelson) and Amanda Moore (Schuyler Fisk) with tales of his escapades outside of Merinac, but winning Jay (Samer Salem) over proved to be quite a challenge.
Meanwhile, Amanda was furious when nature intruded into her home, yet she transformed the unwelcome encounter into a valuable lesson about the unexpected turns of life.
The gears of small-town politics began to shift in favor of Nancy Hiller (Lea Thompson), while Frank Hillier Jr. (James Kot) was reveling in his sneaky antics over at the Cluckery.

What Else Happened Last Week, And What Happens This Week?
In the midst of all this, Frankie Hillier (Cassandra Sawtell) found herself on the receiving end of an uninvited invitation.
In this week’s new episode of The Chicken Sisters, titled “A Woman Always Knows, Y’all,” Gus faces a health issue, prompting mother hen Nancy to step in and manage her recovery.
Mae is concerned about Clayton’s behavior towards Gus — and she’s not alone in her worries; Nancy devises a plan to uncover what Frank, Jr. is doing at the Cluckery.
Amanda discovers that her chicken doodles have attracted the attention of a prominent editor, while Sabrina (Rukiya Bernard) is determined not to let some bad weather spoil the wedding of the year. At the same time, Mae fears that Mimi’s curse might interfere with her future happiness.

This week’s episode of The Chicken Sisters will air on Sunday, Sep. 14 at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel and will be available for streaming the following day on Hallmark+.
