The Good Witch Season 7 Spoilers: Catherine Bell Teases Mystery And Adventure, Plus When Will New Episodes Air?

The Good Witch season 7 spoilers reveal that the series is currently filming in Canada. However, we still have a few tidbits regarding what to expect when it returns to the feel-good network. Actress Catherine Bell, who plays Cassie Nightingale, dropped some magical hints about the upcoming season. She also predicted when we could see new episodes.

When Will Season 7 Premiere?

COVID-19 shut down production of TV shows and movies earlier this year. What was supposed to be only two weeks turned into nearly five months. Slowly, productions were given approval to go ahead and get back to work. However, that was not the only delay for some shows. There are safety measures in place during filming, which means it takes longer to get from the set to our television screens.

Even though a premiere date has not been officially announced, Bell explained during her Instagram video chat session that she thinks it will be around April 2021.

The Good Witch Spoilers: Merricks Mystery Adventure

Bell also explained that season 7 will be filled with intense and emotional stories. In addition to that, the Merricks will try to figure out their past. So, this leads them to go on a bit of an adventure. The actress teased that it will be somewhat of a mystery.

“I’m so excited about this season. It’s very magical. The Merriwicks, we’re on an adventure, kind of a mystery, to try and find out about our past.”

Catherine Bell On Safety Measures

Like many other productions, The Good Witch is following certain safety guidelines to keep the cast and crew safe. Bell explained that despite Toronto being under lockdown, they are still filming with strict protocols in place. Bell said that the safety measures make her feel safe and secure. However, those safety measures are costing a lot of money. For one thing, to make sure that the cast and crew are safely spread out, there are more trailers to keep everyone separated.

As for romantic scenes, those will still exist but it will be a bit different. Now, Bell’s real life husband is also married to her character on the show. So, that makes things a bit easier. At the same time, they are doing more of a “hands-off” approach to love scenes. But Bell assured fans that they will still see plenty of romance.
