Now that Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has been rebranded as Hallmark Mystery, some of the not mystery-related movies are getting a second life on Hallmark Channel. In this case, the network is premiering The More Love Grows, starring Rachel Boston and Warren Christie.

Meanwhile, this movie is a treat, starring Rachel Boston and Warren Christie and the cutest fur baby, Elmer.
As noted by the official synopsis tells the story of Helen (Boston) and her husband Paul (Patrick Gilmore) returning home after moving their daughter, Aly (Roan Curtis) into her college dorm. The couple are now officially empty-nesters, and Paul shocks Helen by telling her he wants a separation.
Meanwhile, Helen struggles with her new-found single status and is not sure where to go from here. However, when an adorable stray dog turns up on her doorstep, Helen reluctantly takes him in and dubs him Elmer, because he sticks to her like glue.
Moreover, Elmer provides Helen with welcome company and leads her to Ben (Christie), a veterinarian, who helps her navigate first-time dog ownership.

As Helen slowly comes out of her comfort zone, she rediscovers her inner strength and starts to rebuild her life as she heads down a new road full of promise and possibility.

Where have you seen the cast before?
Rachel Boston, who plays Helen in the movie, has previously been seen in A Christmas Cookie Catastrophe, American Dreams, The Pill and SEAL Team. She leads the movie with Warren Christie, who plays the veterinarian, Ben, and has previously starred in Apollo 18, Alphas, Crashing Through the Snow and The Watchful Eye.
Helen’s daughter, Aly, is played by Roan Curtis, known for her role in Firefly Lane, The Magicians and Shuteye. Meanwhile, Helen’s estranged husband, Paul is played by Patrick Gilmore of Travelers, 2012 and Family Law fame. Lynda Boyd, stars as Cindy and has been seen in Virgin River and She’s the Man.
