Hallmark’s The Nine Kittens of Christmas tells the story of two cat lovers, Zachary and Marilee. They are thrown back together at Christmas when they are tasked with finding homes for a litter of nine adorable kittens.
The new Hallmark original comedy movie is directed by David Winning (Storm, Killer Image, Exception to the Rule, Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie Swamp Devil, Mutant World) and the script was penned by Erinne Dobson.
Winning has also been involved in more than 15 Hallmark original movies, including Engaging Father Christmas, Finding Santa, Marrying Father Christmas, A Twist of Christmas, Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas and more. Meanwhile, executive producers are Ted Bauman and Jim Head.
Of interest to note, The Nine Kittens of Christmas is a sequel to the 2014 Hallmark original movie, The Nine Lives of Christmas.

Brandon Routh, 42, stars as Zachary Stone and is best known for his role as Superman in the film Superman Returns. He also starred in the TV series Chuck, Arrow, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. Routh has starred in a number of movies, including Table for Three, Miss Nobody, Unthinkable, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Dylan Dog: Dead of Night, Crooked Arrows, 400 Days, Lost in the Pacific, and Anastasia: Once Upon a Time.
Brandon plays opposite Kimberley Sustad as Marilee White. The Canadian actress is best known for her roles in the TV series Travelers, Unspeakable, Spooksville, and the Twilight Zone. She has starred in a number of Hallmark movies, including The Nine Lives of Christmas, Hearts of Christmas, All Things Valentine, Cooking with Love, Walking the Dog, Christmas by Starlight and more.
Other cast members include Gregory Harrison (Chesapeake Shores) as Chief Sam, Stephanie Bennett as Jaclyn and Vince Song as Caleb.
