In November, it was revealed that Hallmark Channel’s time-traveling family drama will wrap up with its fourth and final season, set to premiere in spring 2026.

The Cast And Creative Team Shared Emotional Instagram Memories

As the production of the series concluded last week, the cast and creative team took to their Instagram stories to express heartfelt memories… and perhaps even a request for a fifth season.

“The final day of filming The Way Home… Gutted doesn’t even begin to describe the feeling. This has been the most beautiful journey of my life.”

Leigh and Evan Williams (Elliot Augustine) posted a heartfelt video of themselves strolling through the set, hand in hand, unwilling to accept that the show has come to an end.

Co-showrunner Alexandra Clarke shared a poignant photo of the final crew call, captioned, “Wishing for those 5 more minutes today.”

In the meantime, Sadie Laflamme-Snow (Alice Dhawan) commemorated the moment with an infinity symbol, while Watson Rose (Susanna Augustine) and Julia Tomasone (Young Delilah Landry) expressed their own tributes to the series.

The announcement of The Way Home’s conclusion caught fans off guard, especially since the show has been one of the network’s most beloved and critically acclaimed offerings.

Leigh Feels That The Show Still Has A Wealth Of Creativity, Hoping Netflix Will Pick It Up

The show still possesses a wealth of creativity, a sentiment that Leigh appears to share. The actress has made multiple mentions of Netflix in her social media posts, reminding fans that the first two seasons are now available for streaming on the platform. She added, “You know what to do,”  and that Seasons 3 and 4 are set to premiere in 2026.

She tagged Netflix and added the hashtag “#Season5” in one of her stories; “And that, as they say, is all folks, but hey… the pond always takes you where you need to go.

Maybe if we all wish hard enough, it will lead us back to The Way Home,” Leigh said, and posted “one of the last frames filmed” from the final season.
