The network finally made the announcement that it’s been picked up for a season four renewal, to premiere likely about the same time as the previous seasons.

The Move To Shift The Show Totally To The Streaming Channel Was Nixed

The popular sci-fi drama featuring Andie MacDowell, Chyler Leigh, Evan Williams, and Sadie Laflamme-Snow will wrap up its third season this Friday.

You can stream all three seasons on Hallmark+ and Peacock, but it won’t be exclusively on Hallmark+; it’s just another viewing option.

Last year, Hallmark faced backlash from fans when it announced that the series would move from cable to Hallmark+ for its third season.

The company aimed to use this popular show to attract more subscribers to its new streaming service.

However, fans were unhappy, feeling frustrated that they would need to pay more to keep watching, and Hallmark changed its mind a few weeks later.

Samantha DiPippo, SVP Programming at Hallmark Media, praised the outstanding writing team led by the talented mother-daughter pair, Heather Conkie and Alexandra Clarke.

She remarked, “Every season, they surpass our expectations with their incredible skills.” Their stories, filled with family themes, romance, and intriguing mysteries, have truly engaged our loyal viewers, making The Way Home a must-see show; it’s a fascinating project from Neshama Entertainment and MarVista Entertainment.

The executive producers include Conkie, Clarke, Fernando Szew, Hannah Pillemer, Larry Grimaldi, Ani Kevork, Arnie Zipursky, Marly Reed, Suzanne L. Berger, MacDowell, and Leigh.

John Calvert serves as the series producer, while Mitch Geddes and Jessica Runk are consulting producers, and the narrative is skillfully crafted by executive story editor Michael Hanley.
