The preview kicks off with a recap of earlier episodes, starting in 1816 Port Haven. Jacob finds himself confronted by a mob of furious townsfolk, brandishing torches and pitchforks, all led by the nefarious Cyrus Goodwin (Tim Post).
Amidst the chaos, Kat Landry (Chyler Leigh) passionately declares, “I have seen the future!” then back in the present, Jacob says “it’s Cyrus Goodwin himself!”
A flashback of Cyrus’s portrait from the present is shown, recalling when Lewis Goodwin (Philip Riccio) offered Jacob a job, and Jacob recognized the villainous figure in the painting.
Now, To Scenes From The Next Episode!
Cyrus is depicted in the preview, seated at a table with a gun in hand as he confronts Jacob, saying, “Your family’s gone, you abandoned them!”
Jacob, visibly distressed, is in what appears to be Elijah Landry’s (Stuart Hughes) residence, or possibly the barn that was set on fire in the previous episode.
Meanwhile, in the present, Del Landry (Andie MacDowell) expresses her confusion, exclaiming, “The man has been dead for 200 years!”
She finds herself in a heated argument with Jacob, who retorts, “He’s not dead to me yet!” as in the woods, Alice Dhwan (Sadie LaFlamme-Snow) races back from the pond.
In the kitchen, she reports “I saw him in the pond that day; he was returning from 1816,” as Del and Eliot Augustine (Evan Williams) look skeptical-she’s talking about Colton.
A Worried Del Receives Another Cryptic Note-About Jacob!
A worried Del receives another cryptic note-it says “keep your eye on your son!” Meanwhile, back in 1816 Jacob is having a discussion with Kat; he says “just let me do what I have to”.
