The Way Home Season 4 Begins Filming — First Look and Hallmark Spoilers

Hallmark Channel’s The Way Home spoilers and updates reveal production has started on Season Four. Recently, two of the stars of the Hallmark time-traveling series posted details on their Instagram accounts.

One Step Closer To Season Four

Fans of The Way Home, we are getting closer to the new season of the Hallmark Channel series, which has been highly anticipated by not only fans, but the stars of the show.

Star and executive producer Chyler Leigh (Kat Landry) along with her co-star Sadie Laflamme-Snow (Alice Dhawan) both shared updates on their Instagram stories to celebrate the start of filming for Season 4.

The actresses uploaded pictures showing the exteriors of their trailers, featuring their character names on the doors.

“We are so back,” wrote Laflamme-Snow, while Leigh captioned her post with, “Day 1 of Season 4 Let’s gooo.” In July, Hallmark revealed a significant spoiler regarding the era that the time-traveling family drama will explore next.

Here’s Where Season Three Left Off In March 2024

When the series concluded in March, Elliot Augustine (Evan Williams), along with Kat and Alice, uncovered a significant revelation regarding his mother.

She had referenced a T.S. Eliot poem in a letter addressed to her son-Elliot also discovered that same line engraved on a clock hidden within the wall of his house. But there was an intriguing twist-that wall was constructed before the poem was ever penned.

This discovery prompted Alice to recall a young woman she encountered during her 1974 trip, who was likely Elliot’s mother, as Season 3 wrapped up.

The trio speculated that his mother — who also mentioned “I jump for love” in her letter — might be a time-traveler who entered the pond with a Landry, leaving baby Elliot behind.

This Revelation Has Massive Implications For Season Four

After the Season 3 finale, co-showrunner Alexandra Clarke shared with TVLine that the revelation “has massive implications” for the upcoming season… could it involve sending Kat to the vibrant 1920s?

When Season 4 begins, the plot will transport Kat back to 1925, where a mystery from the previous season will unfold. This w as announced by star and executive producer Chyler Leigh during a Hallmark panel at San Diego Comic-Con in July.

The pond guides the characters to their destinations, and right now, they are in need of answers regarding Elliot’s mother, so Kat may be pursuing a clue in 1925.

Could that earlier riddle be connected to the clock in the wall-sadly, we will have to be patient for answers, as The Way Home is not expected to return until 2026.
