The When Calls the Heart Season 11 spoilers reveal the status of Elizabeth’s relationship with Nathan. McGarry admitted that it’s “complicated.” He made an appearance on Canada’s Super Channel Heart & Home with Edify Films.

McGarry explained that Nathan was the one who encouraged Elizabeth not to marry Lucas. He knew that Elizabeth didn’t want to leave Hope Valley since “that’s her home.”

Just because they know each other well doesn’t mean it’s “complicated.” This is what makes their relationship so unpredictable.

“They are connected, but at the same time, they’re like a puzzle piece… you’ve got to like, you know jam together,” McGarry said. “They find solace in each other, although it’s hard.”
