The funny movie quickly became a hit with viewers. Now, for a special treat, the feel-good network is to air the movie again with an extended cut in July as part of Hallmark’s annual Christmas in July programming event.

As an early Christmas present, fans will get to spend more time with Paul Campbell (Magic in Mistletoe), Tyler Hynes (Shifting Gears, Never Been Chris’d), Andrew Walker (Curious Caterer Mysteries, Navigating Christmas) and Margaret Colin (Gossip Girl, Three Men and a Baby) in the extended cut of the 2022 holiday hit movie.

What is the movie about?

As a reminder, Luke Brenner (Walker) is Mr. Perfect, an all-star firefighter and poster boy for physical health and clean living. However, when he finds a baby named Thomas on the doorstep of the fire hall, with a note asking him to care for it until Christmas, he is totally at a loss. He wanted his mom, Barbara (Colin) to help as she was out of town to attend to her sister’s medical emergency.

This meant that Luke had no choice but to ask his brothers for help until his mom returned. Taylor (Hynes) is an opinionated video game designer who recently lost his job. Meanwhile, Stephan (Campbell) is a pet therapist with severe social anxiety. The brothers soon discover the only way to survive the week is to work together as a team, taking turns with the baby, which is something they haven’t done since they were children.

As they slowly get the hang of things, they find themselves on unexpected journeys of self-discovery and start rebuilding their relationships as brothers. Moreover, they seek to repair damaged romantic and professional relationships in their respective lives, while rediscovering their love of Christmas.

Executive producers are Shawn Williamson, Jamie Goehring, Trevor McWhinney and Jonathan Shore, while Jameson Parker serves as a producer.
