Hallmark Channel and Three Wiser Men And A Boy
Fans of Three Wise Men and a Baby will be thrilled to meet up with the Brenner family again in a comedy sequel. As with the first movie, Three Wiser Men and a Boy stars Tyler Hynes, Andrew Walker, Paul Campbell and Margaret Colin, but what is the plot this time around?
According to TV Insider, the plot of the movie is as follows:
This story begins five years later with the Brenner brothers preparing for another memorable Christmas.
In a crazy turn of events, possibly brought on accidentally by the brothers themselves, the director of Luke’s son Thomas’ school holiday musical steps down. Luke is desperate to make his son’s stage dreams come true, so he enlists the help of his brothers Taylor and Stephan.
Meanwhile, the trio navigates meeting their mom Barbara’s new boyfriend and the brothers grapple with their own feelings about this relationship. In true Brenner brother fashion, they are all in for a Christmas they never forget.
When will the sequel air on Hallmark Channel?
The new Tyler Hynes, Andrew Walker and Paul Campbell movie, Three Wiser Men and a Boy is set to premiere on Saturday, November 23, at 8 pm ET/PT on Hallmark Channel. Meanwhile, Peacock will stream the movie up to 72 hours after the premiere.
More about the original movie
Paul Campbell recently spoke to the Hallmark Mysteries & More podcast where he was asked about the original movie, Three Wise Men and a Baby. He shared that their original idea was for a non-Christmas movie, Three Men and a Baby. However, Hallmark thought that a different idea for the movie would be ideal for the Countdown to Christmas programming event.
This led to Paul and Kimberley Sustad working on a script. While they did think focusing on the Brennen brothers rather than a romance was a risk, of course, it ended up being a huge hit for Hallmark.
